Here is the Remnant 2 Primogenitor boss guide which will help you find and take down a very nasty parasitic boss in The Hacthery on N’Erud. Ensure you have maxed out either the Handler, Summoner or Engineer Archetypes before going in to the battle as you’ll need all the help you can get.
Location: N’Erud, The Hatchery.
Rewards: Cracked Shell x1, Lumenite Crystal x3, Tome of Knowledge x1, Scrap x500.
Proceed through The Hatchery getting used to taking down the bugs, paying attention to the baby ones that stick on you noting that rolling instantly kills them and you will need to become proficient at this as you’re going to need to roll a lot during the Primogenitor boss fight.
Rest at the checkpoint then, as I mentioned in the intro, equip any of the 3 main supportive classes which will help you a great deal here as you are going to be swarmed on a regular basis.
The fight against Primogenitor is fairly simple on paper, you have the main boss, who is a parasite enter 1 of 3 flying special enemies who then rain attacks down on you and every so often you will have a few bugs to kill as well.
In principal, however, this fight is a serious challenge! I made the mistake of underestimating the boss itself thinking it looks like a psychedelic bug, where’s the danger but this thing had me in trouble more than most other bosses in the game due to the sheer number of bugs that come for you as well as having to deal with the attacks from above at the same time.
Primogenitor will, for the most be buried into the side of one of the flying enemies circling above you with its ass hanging out so focus fire as best as you can then once you bring the larger flying creatures down, focus fire on the boss before it runs off up up through a cracked pipe.
Don’t allow yourself to be overwhelmed by the smaller bugs though, one on one they pose minimal threat but when there’s a few of them all biting and jumping at you your health bar can deplete very quickly.
Melee attacks will be very effective against Primogenitor as long as you can get close to it or just aim for its head as best as you can, there are a lot of ammo drops in the fight due to the amount of bugs you’ll be killing so ensure you collect the ammo where necessary and keep on the move.
Once Primogenitor is down you can then relax a bit knowing you have taken one of the tougher bosses in N’Erud down.
