When Abomination first rolls out of its tube it looks like a slow mess of all sorts of junk held together by some sort of bio-matter, however, first impressions aren’t always as they appear which is very true in a game such as Remnant 2.
Abomination is a very fast boss who can roll, throw a series of punches at you, summon in allies, detonate explosions and generally be very good when it comes to trying to ruin your day.
Fortunately, Abomination isn’t all that strong defence wise, especially when you shoot the metal panels off the side of the mass revealing weak spots as well as, on occasion, explosives you can shoot to deal significant damage to the biomaterial that lies beneath.
The Abomination will roll around the arena, where, if you’re fast enough you can shoot the explosive canisters which then not only stops the beast in its tracks for a few seconds will also deal heavy damage and can inflict fire damage as well which Abomination is weak to.
As long as you avoid the projectiles, swipes and fast rolling attacks which is easier said than done and focus fire on the weak points when they become available you will soon have Abomination running back to a hole where you will then need to clear an ambush whilst also watching your back.
Utilise fire damage as best as you can as well as keeping your health over half as none of its attacks, for me at least, took me below half health until you finally bring Abomination down.
