WWE 2K22 is set to release on the 11-Mar-2022 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC and will hopefully be a welcome entry to the series given the fact the developers have taken a year off, partly due to the pandemic and more importantly to take an additional year to focus on ironing out the issues that have plagued the series’ last few entries.
There will be a good number of editions available depending on how in depth you want to go in the game as well as how much content you are looking to have available when you start playing.
The WWE 2K22 editions available are:
Standard Edition (PS4 / Xbox One)
This standard edition is only available on PS4 / Xbox One and gives you the base game as well as:
Undertaker Immortal Pack.
Which gives you 3 additional Undertaker personas:
- Boneyard Match Undertaker.
- Lord of Darkness Undertaker.
- Phantom Mask Undertaker.
As well as:
- MyFACTION EVO cards for Undertaker.
- MyFACTION Perks and Bonuses.
The Standard Edition (PS4 / Xbox One) will cost £59.99.
Standard Edition (PS5 / Xbox Series X/S)
The Standard Edition for PS5 / Xbox Series X/S will only be playable on their respective consoles, you won’t be able to play the games on pre-gen consoles so ensure you choose the correct edition before purchasing.
This Standard Edition will give you everything the standard edition (PS4 / Xbox One) does as well as the:
Starcade ’96 Rey Mysterio Pack.
Which gives you:
- Starcade ’96 Rey Mysterio as a playable character.
- Starcade ’96 Rey Mysterio Ruby MyFACTION Card.
The Standard Edition (PS5 / Xbox One) will cost £64.99 on console and £49.99 on PC (Steam).
Cross-Gen Digital Bundle PS4 + PS5 / Xbox Series X/S + Xbox One
The Cross-Gen Digital Bundle gives you access to WWE 2K22 on both versions of your chosen console (PS5 + PS4 / Xbox Series X/S + Xbox One) and gives you everything the Standard Edition PS5 / Xbox Series X/S does including the:
- Base game.
- Starcade ’96 Rey Mysterio Pack.
- Undertaker Immortal Pack.
The Cross-Gen Digital Bundle will cost £69.99.
Deluxe Edition
The Deluxe Edition for WWE 2K22 offers you everything the Cross-Gen Digital Bundle does as well as:
Season Pass.
Which gives you access to 5 DLC post launch packs and every WWE Legend available to play in the game.
As well as:
- 3 Day Early Access.
The Deluxe Edition will cost £84.99 on console and PC.
nWo 4-Life Edition
The final edition for WWE 2K22 the nWo 4-Life Edition will give you everything the Deluxe Edition will as well as the:
nWo 4-Life Digital Bonus Pack which offers the:
- MyFACTION Evo Cards for “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Syxx and Eric Bischoff.
- Playable characters; Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Syxx, Eric Bischoff and “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan.
