Generators are arguably one of the most important parts you can equip as they essentially power your entire Armored Core. With no generator, you won’t even be able to move let alone fire a weapon.

To see which Generators you have acquired go: Garage> AC Design> Assembly> Inner> Generator. You won’t need to equip any of the Generators you collect as you work towards unlocking Inner Parts Collector, however, they can really upgrade the gear you can equip so ensure you have a look at their stats to greatly improve your efficiency as you progress through the game.

The 14 Generators you can find and collect in Armored Core VI: Fires Of Rubicon are as follows:

  1. AG-J-098 JOSO Generator.
  2. DF-GN-02 Ling-Tai Generator.
  3. VP-20S Generator.
  4. DF-GN-06 Ming-Tang Generator.
  5. VP-20D Generator.
  6. AG-E-013 Yaba Generator.
  7. VP-20C Generator.
  8. IA-C01G: Aorta Generator.
  9. DF-GN-08 San-Tai Generator.
  10. VE-20A Generator.
  11. IB-C03G NGI 000 Generator.
  12. AG-T-005 Hokushi Generator.
  13. VE-20C Generator.
  14. VE-20B Generator. (New Game +).

Your Generator is arguably the most important part of your AC as it determines the weaponry you can equip and how well you can recharge your boost and dodges so if you’re struggling, mix things up a bit, try out different Generators and if there’s one you find favourable, change your loadout to suit.

The entire AC that you use has to work in harmony which every part you equip. There’s not going to be a lot of success to be found if you use a lower level Generator but you also want to fire triple Laser Guns for example.
