Boosters play a very important role in Armored Core VI as they dictate how well you will move around a biome, how quickly you ascend and how far and powerful your dodges will be.
To see which Booster parts you have available you can go: Garage> AC Design> Assembly> Inner> Booster. You won’t need to equip any of the Boosters unless you want to just having them in your inventory is enough of a requirement as you work towards unlock Internal Parts Collector.
The 12 Booster parts you can find throughout Armored Core VI are as follows:
- BST-G1/P10 Booster.
- BST-G2/P04 Booster.
- Alula-21E Booster.
- Buerzel/21D Booster.
- AB-J-137 Kikaku Booster.
- Fluegel/21Z Booster.
- BC-0400 Mule Booster.
- BC-0600 12345 Booster.
- BST-G2/P06SPD Booster.
- IA-C01B: Gills Booster.
- BC-02000 Gridwalker Booster. (New Game +).
- IB-C03B:NGI 001 Booster. (New Game +).
Your Booster is a very important part of your AC as it determines how well and efficiently you can dodge, boost around an arena and get to heights you may struggle to reach whilst under fire that could offer some respite or time for your weapons to recharge or cool down so ensure you test out and familiarise yourself with the various Boosters as you unlock them.
BST-G1/P10 Booster
Requirements: Default Booster.
Cost: Free.
The BST-G1/P10 is your default Booster and is equipped on your rig from the start of the game.
Alula/21E Booster
Requirements: Complete Training Module 3: Intermediate Support 1: Assembling An AC.
Cost: Free.
Before Training Module 3: Intermediate Support 1: Assembling an AC will become available, you will firstly need to complete Mission 7: Destroy the Weaponized Mining Ship.
Complete the Intermediate Support 1: Assembling an AC training module to be gifted the Alula/21E Booster.
BC-0600 12345 Booster
Requirements: Loot the parts container in Mission 23: Eliminate “Honest” Brute.
Cost: Free.
Proceed through the mission taking out the enemies who aggro until you get to a turntable with a few enemies and a Tetra-Pod you need to defeat. Once everything is down, look towards the mission marker, however, instead of dropping down, turn around and go along the walkway.
You need to go all the way to the end then fly up to the highest point of the crane jib where you will find a parts container which holds the BC-0600 12345 Booster.
IA-C01B: Gills Booster
Requirements: Loot the Parts Container in Mission 28: Underground Exploration – Depth 3.
Cost: Free.
Proceed through the mission to where you are outside and have the Enforcer shooting at you from below then go through the tunnels where you will try and avoid a powerful laser blast.
As soon as the door closes, go right into a small room with 2 PCA Weaponry Mechs. Take them down then loot the container behind the pair to find the IA-C01B: Gills Booster.
BC-02000 Gridwalker Booster
Requirements: Conclude Chapter 2 in New Game +.
Cost: $169,000.
You will need to progress through your first playthrough whilst aiming for The Fires Of Raven Ending then continue through your second playthrough until you take down the Sea Spider and get launched across the ocean which will conclude Chapter 2.
Doing so makes the BC-0200 Gridwalker Booster available for purchase in the Parts Shop.
IB-C03B: NGI 001 Booster
Requirements: Achieve Hunter Rank 13.
Cost: Free.
You will firstly need to go all the way through your first playthrough aiming for The Fires of Raven Ending then proceed through New Game + aiming for the Liberator of Rubicon Ending.
You will achieve Hunter Rank 13 as long as you have been following along with the Combat Log Collector guide once you complete the Eliminate “Cinder” Carla Mission in Chapter 5 which you will need to complete as you work towards the Liberator of Rubicon Ending and it’s a tough Mission to complete so bring a heavy hitting agile build.
